Karen has over 25 years of transcription experience in the medical language field. Karen began her career in the acute care setting holding positions as admitting clerk, outpatient coder, transcriptionist, and transcription supervisor. She moved into the transcription service industry working as Omnimed Transcription's regional operations manager. Here she oversaw offices in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Mississippi. Karen also worked for a national medical transcription service as a regional director where she was responsible for overseeing the operations and customer service for a 9-state region.
Her expertise gained from these operational positions has established her as an excellent role model and mentor to our professional medical language specialist team. She successfully blends her keen attention for detail with results-oriented customer service in Amphion's day-to-day operations.
