Minnette Terlep - VP Business Development, Chief Compliance Officer
Minnette is a nationally recognized expert in the field of health information management.
Prior to joining Amphion, Minnette merged her company, MT Associates, with UASI in 1997 for the purpose of introducing and marketing her coding compliance and Casemix analysis software. While with UASI, Minnette held the position of Senior Vice President.
Minnette has also held numerous other senior management positions including Assistant Vice President of Clinical Operations at Hospital Corporation of America, and Director of HIM and QA at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, Illinois.
She also served as the Director of the Central Office on ICD-9-CM at the AHA and was one of the four members of the Cooperating Parties, along with representatives from HCFA, NCHS and AHIMA, responsible for developing, approving and publishing the official coding guidelines.
A frequent speaker at both state and national HIM conventions, Minnette has also authored many articles on HIM, Casemix analysis and coding.
Minnette is an expert on coding compliance and brings her expertise to Amphion Medical Solutions. She will be enhancing all of the service lines and will have direct involvement in all of the company compliance issues and client's compliance issues.
Minnette won the prestigious AHIMA Triumph Achievement Award in 2000, at the AHIMA National Convention in Chicago. This award was given to her with respects to her many contributions to the HIM field and the development of her coding compliance and Casemix analysis software.
